You'll then board a boat for a cruise to Menjerite, a snorkeling spot with a beautiful shallow coral reef, about 45 minutes from Labuan Bajo. After snorkeling, you'll cruise to Rinca Island on a Standard AC Cabin boat, passing several small islands along the way. Lunch will be served onboard. Once you arrive at Rinca, you'll have the opportunity to see Komodo dragons in their natural habitat, as well as other wild animals like deer, horses, birds, and wild buffaloes. Later, you'll sail to Kalong Island, where you'll be amazed by the sight of thousands of bats flying out as the sun sets, creating a truly romantic atmosphere. You will spend the night on the boat.
Notes:
We'll always strive to follow the planned itinerary. However, factors like weather, currents, and harbor conditions can cause changes at the Captain's discretion. Flexibility is key when cruising, as unforeseen circumstances may alter our schedule. We reserve the right to make necessary adjustments for everyone's best interest—it's all part of the adventure!
Early morning cruise to Padar Island, a one-hour trek to the summit of Padar Kecil offers an unparalleled, 360-degree view of Komodo National Park. The island boasts a distinctive landscape of steep, arid hills, dramatic cliffs that drop into the sea, and graceful albatrosses patrolling the skies. Continue to Long Pink Beach, considered as one of the best spots for swimming and snorkeling activities.
Approaching Komodo and its surrounding islands, you're met with a dry, austere wilderness defined by towering, forbidding cliffs. Upon arrival, you'll take a 1.5-mile walk to Banugulung to see the legendary Komodo dragons. Enjoy lunch on board before sailing to Taka Makasar for swimming and snorkeling.
Afterward, the cruise continues to Manta Point Island, where you can explore the rich marine life, including sea turtles, giant clams, sponges, cuttlefish, and vibrant reefs. If you're lucky, you might even get to swim with majestic manta rays! Head back to Labuan Bajo for the night. You'll check into the hotel and rest of the day at leisure.
Kick off your day with breakfast, then begin your journey to Rangko Village. From this traditional fishing village, you'll take a short, 20-minute boat ride in a basic local boat to a pier. A 15-minute walk from there, including crossing a small wooden bridge, will bring you to Rangko Cave. You can explore the cave and even swim in its natural pool before boating back to the village. On the return trip to Labuan Bajo, you'll stop for lunch at a local restaurant. After your excursion, you'll drive about 5 km to Batu Cermin Cave. The journey requires a slow, 15 to 20-minute walk, where you'll navigate rocky terrain and climb steep stairs at a 60-75 degree incline to reach the entrance. Inside, the cave measures 75 by 5 meters and is filled with stalactites and stalagmites. The cave gets its name, "Mirror Stone," from the way sunlight enters through a single hole, reflecting off the stone walls like a mirror. After your visit, you'll return to your hotel for refreshing before enjoying a local cuisine to end the final night in Labuan Bajo at the Kampung Ujung Fish Market.
Notes:
The climb to Batu Cermin is steep, and the path inside is rocky and can be dark, though a flashlight will be provided by a local guide. This portion of the tour may not be suitable for elderly guests or anyone with mobility issues.
This morning, savor a hearty breakfast before checking out of your hotel. We'll ensure a smooth transfer back to the airport for your departure to your next destination.
